One of the benefits of joining a CSA is the large amounts of fresh nutritious produce available to you and your family throughout the growing season. For most people, joining a CSA encourages healthier eating because there is all this fresh produce lying around and you have to figure out what to do with it. But it can be a real challenge if you are not familiar with some of the vegetables or you are more used to buying prepared foods.

The purpose of this guide is to help familiarize you with ways that other CSA members and I have found to quickly and easily consume a large amount of fresh produce. This will help you maximize the value of your CSA share by not letting things go to waste and help you pack your diet full of some of the healthiest food the planet has to offer. Just click on the vegetable, herb or fruit that you want to learn about!
